1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Jimmy Handyman Services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Jimmy Handyman Services offers handyman, repair, and light construction services including but not limited to:

Plumbing and Electrical Repairs

Cabinet Installation and Repair
-
Interior & Exterior Painting
-
Stucco Repairs
-
Window & Door Installations
-
Molding & Trim Work
-
Other general handyman services
We are not a licensed general contractor and do not engage in work that requires a California contractor's license (over $500 in labor & materials per job). Any work exceeding this threshold will be subcontracted to a licensed professional in compliance with California law.
3. Estimates & Payments

Free Estimates: Quotes are based on initial assessments and may be adjusted based on job complexity.

Deposit Policy: Jobs over $500 may require a deposit before work begins.

Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments (Zelle, Venmo, PayPal).

Late Payments: Unpaid invoices past 10 days may incur a 5% late fee per month.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $50 cancellation fee.

If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, emergency), we will notify you immediately and reschedule at no extra cost.
5. Liability & Warranty

Limited Warranty: We guarantee workmanship for 30 days from completion of the job. This does not cover normal wear and tear, improper use, or damage from external factors.

No Liability for Pre-Existing Issues: We are not responsible for pre-existing damages or failures that occur after a repair.

Third-Party Products & Materials: We are not responsible for defects in materials supplied by the customer or third-party vendors.
6. Permits & Compliance

Client Responsibility: The homeowner/business owner is responsible for obtaining any permits required by local or state laws for work that requires approval.

Code Compliance: We follow California building codes and safety regulations, but compliance responsibility ultimately rests with the property owner.
7. Limitation of Liability

Jimmy Handyman Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from our services.

In no event shall our liability exceed the total cost paid for services rendered.
8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall first be resolved via direct communication. If unresolved, parties agree to mediation/arbitration before legal action.

California law governs this agreement, and any claims must be filed in Santa Clara Superior Court.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
